This role will actively seek out new customer opportunities by developing relationships and exploring there banking needs. Position Responsibilities

  • Provides financial consultation to customers and prospective customers to help them reach their goals as well as potentially maintain a long-term banking relationship;
  • Approves sound loans reflecting attention to analysis, loan structure, and pricing relative to the risk and value of the borrower within lending authority and bank loan policy, or prepares quality loan presentations for credit recommendations to appropriate loan authorities;
  • Negotiates complex pricing, loan structure, and loan agreement issues on large borrowers;
  • Monitors existing assigned loans to ensure complete compliance with loan terms, proper loan ratings, timely past due management, and problem loan detection;
  • Calls on potential or existing customers to develop new business and increase or retain existing business;
  • Maintains an extensive knowledge of loan policy and procedures, commercial deposit accounts, cash management, ACH policies, letters of credit, credit cards and other bank products;
  • Be thoroughly familiar with regulatory compliance matters that directly affect lending processes and be committed to comply with those requirements.

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven sales track record in developing new business
  • 5+ years of Commercial Lending experience
  • Ability to provide short-term sales results
  • Knowledge of lending and banking policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Credit Lending experience a requirement.

Technical Knowledge and Skills

  • Microsoft office software suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Other:  Ability to travel within a defined market area.

Position Purpose

The Recruitment & Brand Partner leads the Bank’s talent acquisition function and works to create and maintain the Bank’s employee brand in the market place.  In addition, the role is responsible for creating, updating and maintaining the Bank’s onboarding program for new hires.  Through the efforts, the role will enhance the Bank’s visibility and reputation in the market to help build the employer brand and position the Bank as the community bank of choice in the DC Metro area.

Position Responsibilities

  • Manages the full life-cycle recruiting process to include sourcing candidates, screening/referring candidates to hiring managers, scheduling, logistics and preparation for candidates interviewing. 
  • Coordinates efforts with hiring managers, interviewers, and actively accepts resumes and applications.
  • Responsible for all job postings and ensuring all postings are updated online where needed and when needed.
  • Engages with the HR Team and the business to ensure that hiring managers are effectively trained on proper interviewing techniques.
  • Works with the HR Team and other business partners to create, implement and maintain a comprehensive onboarding program for the Bank.
  • Proactively engages with passive candidates and builds a network of future candidates.
  • Partners with the CBHL Head of Sales to run recruitment campaigns and provides guidance, best practice and insight into the recruitment efforts of MLOS.
  • Creates, manages and maintains the CBNK digital employer brand and presence; Glassdoor, Linkedin, corporate website, Youtube, etc…
  • Implements and manages the companies Applicant Tracking System and responsible for maintaining all records per department procedures.

Minimum Education & Experience

  • 5+ years in a similar Talent Acquisition role for an organization with 100+ employees in multi-site, multi-state locations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience working in a regulated environment is a plus.

Technical Knowledge and Skills

  • Microsoft office software suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
  • Understanding/knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Understanding of federal and state laws in regards to hiring practices.

  • To run the daily operations of the closing department in an efficient and profitable manner by having strong organization and customer service skills.
  • Reviewing files from underwriting to ensure they have required necessary documentation to prepare closing documents and contacting processing and / or loan originator to obtain outstanding closing conditions.
  • Ability to anticipate the loan officer’s needs and proactively bring together appropriate people and resources to support their need.
  • Interprets lending guidelines and exercises judgment in determining if the loan is in fact ready to close.
  • Develop and maintain a system that alerts to upcoming deadlines on incoming requests.
  • With own initiative, process/compose correspondence/reports.
  • Handle confidential information in a professional and discreet manner.
  • Ensure that various administrative tasks are done in an effective and efficient manner, including copying, reviewing outside mail, drafting correspondence, screening phone calls when requested, and maintaining files as needed.
  • Prepare closing documents and fund loan, review HUD1 from Settlement Company ensuring closing instructions are properly followed including but not limited to all fees and closing cost assistance for sale on secondary market.
  • Post Close files after settlement to ensure closing instructions were followed and closing documents were correctly executed and all needed additional documents requested at closing are delivered with closing package.
  • Ship files for sale on secondary marketing to respective investors with specific stacking order of documents in a timely manner to meet lock deadlines and forward mortgage insurance certificates with premiums.
  • Track final document recording and delivery to investors including but not limited to security instruments and title policies.
  • Assist in HMDA reporting.

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • 4-6 years of Closer experience
  • Knowledge of lending and banking policies, procedures, and regulations

Technical Knowledge and Skills

Technical Knowledge and Skills 

  • Knowledge of applicable lending regulation, compliance and standard mortgage processing duties
  • Experience working with DU, LP, GUS and other applicable automated underwriting engines
  • Working knowledge of the encompass origination platform is a plus
  • Aptitude to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service skills with a high attention to detail

  • Strong knowledge of State and Federal laws pertaining to the mortgage banking industry. (i.e. RESPA, TILA, ECOA, etc.)
  • Strong working experience with FNMA, FHLMC, VA, and FHA underwriting guidelines
